    Mission

Over the course of many years, the importance of Samegrelo's winemaking was not properly valued in Georgia, and therefore wine tourism was not a priority in regional development.

Oda Family Winery, together with Vino Martville, brought back Samegrelo's terroir-oriented winemaking traditions after a long pause, introduced Samegrelo to the world's wine-oriented countries as a winemaking region, and established Samegrelo's wine tourism's first successful location.

    Family Winery
Wine was always produced in Oda's open-air marani. Keto began bottling and selling it in 2016. In the first year, the wine was sold in the local market in various bars, and in 2017 began to be exported to the USA. In 2019, Oda distributed wines to seven countries across four continents - USA, Japan, Germany, Australia, Sweden, Denmark, and Israel. The wines are available in boutique natural wine bars, shops, and restaurants.

Oda produces wines from rare Megrelian, Lechkhumian, and Rachan grape varieties. Oda and its partner vineyards share ethical, organic agricultural principles, in which the use of systematic treatments and chemical fertilizers is prohibited in the vineyards. Minimal intervention is also the main philosophy in the winery. Wines are not filtered and are produced without any additions, except in some cases minimal amounts of sulfur, which are permitted in organic winemaking.

In 2016-2018, in addition to Ojaleshi, Oda began to plant old Megrelian and Abkhazian endemic grape varieties: Chvitiluri, Koloshi, Dudghushi, Lakvazhi, and Ashugazhi. We will produce our first wine in limited quantity from this vineyard in 2021.

    Family Restaurant
Oda Family Restaurant, which the family opened in their home in 2017, works to reintroduce forgotten Megrelian dishes. The restaurant's team researches rare regional dishes, and brings them back to life in the kitchen. In this way, old Megrelian traditional and personal recipes have been brought to life - Chemkva, Khozo, Chachamuta Chkidi, Gamosalotsi Kverebi, Gulis Kverebi, DzrDz sauce, Tsitsaka, Kokha, Katchabe, Jumenis Tsvaneri, three-layered Khachapuri, etc. - which represent the status, tastes, and village produce of Samegrelo and Abkhazia over different historical periods.

The concept of the restaurant is based on several key values: seasonal cuisine, sustainably grown fresh produce, authentic regional taste, and support of small farmers. Oda's team unites Megrelian cuisine's most knowledgeable, experienced, and enthusiastic cooks, the efforts of whom have created a name for the restaurant both in Georgia and in neighboring countries.

Every year, Oda receives approximately 2000 guests from 40 different countries. Among the guests are wine and gastronomical experts, critics, sommeliers, masters of wine, bloggers, journalists, and those who simply appreciate wine and our values.
